Parent and Family Support
At Dunmanway FRC, we offer one to one parent and family support.
This is a free and confidential support service for parents based in the Dunmanway Area and its environs. Parents can seek one-to-one support on any parenting challenge they are facing at this moment in that time. There are no waiting lists and we can also advise on other supports available in the community. At Dunmanway FRC all parents and those in parenting roles are welcome and offered a safe place to talk about the parenting challenges and concerns and to explore ways to address these. Parents call about children of all ages – grand parents, foster parents, carers also call.. Parent support is here to help you when you need it.
We also offer home visits, if you are unable to call into the centre, we can come to you.

Peer Parent Support Groups
From time to time, we have groups that may come together for a course and they continue to then meet as a support for each other. This is always an option for people in our community should they wish to set one up.

Seasonal Events in the Dunmanway Community Garden
Each year we hold seasonal parties for families in the Dunmanway Community Garden including Easter Party, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, Pizza Party, and Halloween Party!! Keep an eye out for when these will run.
